Her new role will see her focusing on a variety of core work including wealth and succession planning, inheritance tax advice, trust creation and administration, wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.

Karen completed her LLM Law Degree at Leeds University in 2004, she then studied for her Legal Practice Course at the BPP Law School the following year and successfully completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP) Diploma in 2016. Karen will be primarily based at our Manchester head office but she will also have a presence in our Glossop office.

Kate Oldfield, managing partner, commented: “We are delighted that Karen has joined the firm. She boasts a wealth of experience and a raft of fresh ideas that I know will add value to the business and, most importantly, to our clients.”

Karen added: “The opportunity to grow the Private Client team is what most attracted me to the firm. My focus is now on developing our offering and widening our client base so we become one of the leading teams in Manchester.”
