Law firm Davis Blank Furniss has further solidified its presence in Glossop with the redeployment of key staff from its Manchester based Personal Injury team. The news comes after the recent death of Jon Litherland who had been with the firm for over 30 years.
The newly formed team consists of Jackie Miller – a paralegal who has been at Davis Blank Furniss in Glossop for 25 years; Kate Oldfield – the firm’s managing partner – and Ashi Arora who is a legal executive with 15 years experience in the sector.
The team will continue to offer a full personal injury service which covers various claims from trips in the street to injuries at work and road traffic accidents. The firm can also carry out negligence work against doctors and dentists on behalf of clients.
Kate Oldfield, managing partner at Davis Blank Furniss, commented; ‘Our Glossop office has always been central to our offering and Jon’s passing was a personal tragedy for us all. He was a committed member of the team for many, many years so we hope this realignment of talents will build on his work and position the office well for the future.
Kate added; ‘My colleagues in Glossop are a talented bunch and I’m looking forward to working more closely with them and to help our clients in an open, honest and results driven way.’
