Delegates will hear from Andy McNish (corporate partner at Davis Blank Furniss); Jessica Greenhalgh (business and employment solicitor at Davis Blank Furniss); and Paul Lomas (director of Lomas & Company). Areas that will be covered include:
~ Finding successors
~ Maximising value
~ Structuring and funding the exit
~ Preparing for exit
~ Overview of an exit
~ Valuing a business
~ Tax planning for exit
Andy McNish commented: “There’s no doubt that successful small business owners need to plan for their succession/exit but it can be a daunting prospect and can be easily overlooked when the pressures of running a company takes over. Our aim from a legal perspective is to give clear and relevant advice.”
Paul added: “The purpose of the seminar is to provide real insight so when the time comes any exit will be straightforward, rewarding and tax efficient.”
