Associate Solicitor, Private Client
We welcomed Laura to the firm... in September 2011. Laura studied History and Politics at Newcastle University and went on to complete the Law Conversion at the College of Law in York. Laura is now an associate solicitor in the private client department.
Key areas of expertise include... all aspects of private client work, in particular, making wills, administering probate, setting up Personal Injury Compensation Trusts and creating Powers of Attorney. Laura also assists with all aspects of family law matters and provides practical advice to clients throughout their divorce proceedings.
She fits in because... she is a team-player and is happy to get involved in all aspects of the firm’s activities. She listens to the client and understands their main concerns.
At the end of the day... Laura enjoys running, playing squash and playing netball with the Davis Blank Furniss team. She likes a trip to the shops and catching up with friends and family.
