Claire Smith (nee Reddington)

Biography

We welcomed Claire to the firm... as a trainee in 2004, we were impressed and offered her a position as a solicitor in 2006.  She was promoted to Associate in 2011.

Her key areas of expertise include... dealing with all aspects of commercial litigation including debt recovery, injunctive relief, shareholder and directors’ disputes, general contractual disputes, property litigation and terms and conditions disputes. Claire works with her clients to achieve the most suitable outcome for them as early as possible.

Claire also provides advice to clients on all aspects of employment law, ranging from day to day disciplinary matters to redundancy procedures, dismissals, compromise agreements and tribunal claims. As well as drafting and reviewing the documents her clients require to comply with rapidly changing legislation, Claire also represents clients at the Employment Tribunal.

She fits in because... Claire gets straight to the heart of the matter, and identifies the source of problems immediately.

At the end of the day... Claire's interests include travelling, skiing and music, and she is also a member of the Davis Blank Furniss netball team.
