Kate Oldfield
Biography
Kate was appointed Managing Partner of the firm in December 2007.
Kate trained with the firm before qualifying in 1989, and in addition to her role as Managing Partner, she specialises in:
- Personal injury claims
- Clinical negligence
- Accidents and incidents at work
- Road traffic accidents
- Accidents on holiday
Kate operates on a no win/no fee basis and so in virtually all cases, is able to pass all of the clients' awards straight on to them, as she is paid by the other side. Kate has a varied caseload, including cases involving significant injury and brain damage. She recently settled a case for £3 million.
In addition Kate advises companies on issues relating to health and safety (including corporate manslaughter), trading standards and matters involving company vehicles.
Kate is married with two children. Outside interests include playing the piano, keep fit and visiting the theatre.
