Biography
Andy is a partner and commercial lawyer who has been with Davis Blank Furniss since 1989. In 1994-5 he took a spell away from Davis Blank Furniss to travel, during which time he worked for Australia's largest law firm.
Andy is experienced in a broad spectrum of non-contentious commercial work, and particularly specialises in banking law, and the buying, selling and restructuring of small and medium-sized businesses.
Aside from his fee-earning role, Andy is also co-ordinator of the firm’s internal Information Technology group and a member of the Trainee Solicitor selection panel.
Andy was born in Sunderland but has lived in the Manchester area since 1985 when he started his law degree at Manchester University.
He married his wife, Karen, in 2002 and they have two young children, Carys and Rhys.
